Right-wing parties won a narrow
majority in the Israeli parliamentary elections. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was
re-elected. The Israeli Prime Minster
would become the longest-serving premier in the Jewish State’s history.
Netanyahu is expected to continue
his hard line against Palestinian terrorism and against terrorist-sponsoring Iran ’s nuclear weapons program, as well as to
maintain Israel ’s close
alliance with the United
States .
