I am a published historian, conservative activist and public servant. My historical publications include a chapter entitled "The Aftermath," in Lepanto by G.K. Chesterton and The Centennial History of Holy Rosary Parish: 1904-2004 Reading, PA. My political writings have also been published, including in National Review. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Italian-American Cultural Center of Pennsylvania. I was elected a Reading School Director in 2005, serving until 2009, and then was appointed to the Board of Directors to fill a vacancy in 2013, earning a reputation as a fiscal conservative and reformer. I was appointed to the Reading Planning Commission in 2014 and elected Chairman in 2017. I served as Chairman of Reading's Home Rule Charter Commission from 2019-2020; amendments the Commission proposed were enacted that protected the Separation of Powers.
Happy Easter! Amid another year of excess death because of pandemic and war in Europe, we celebrate the destruction of Death by our Savior, Jesus Christ, for though our bodies remain mortal, our souls are created for eternal Paradise.
